SORRY! Try as we might, there will be times that we simply can't make this online thing happen. We are a small chrch with few people and limited resources. Two weeks ago, we knew our online absence was coming. Last week turned out to be a family emergency on behalf of the gentleman who runs our streaming. We pray we are more consistenlty onlune but sometimes things are just going to happen. We apologize for that. Today's Buletin: Today's Hymns:

First Sunday of Lent (2/22/26)
Lent Today is the First Sunday in the Lenten Season. Lent is that time in our liturgical year designated for self reflection. It is a time that we are preparing ourselves for the Resurrection of Christ for Easter and the Easter season which will carry us through Pentecost. Many people choose something in their lives they will give up during this part of the year. Some give up the use of alcohol. Others will do away with chocolate. Our Roman Catholic brothers and sisters

Baptism of the Lord Sunday (1/1/26)
Today we celebrate our own Baptism as we celebrate the Baptism of Christ as our first act of worhip in ordinary time. When we think of "ordinary' time, we don't think of "ordinary" as in "normal" or "hum drum" or "boring." It i ORDERED TIME. This is time as can be measured with a clock or a metronome. Ordinary time is that time where we take the lessons learned in the Advent and Christmas Seasons and put those lessons into action, through our prayers and through our acti

We pray that you had a wonderful Christmas day with family gathered. We pray it was a time of restoration and healing and that you are ready to face the new year with vigor and renewed faith. Our hymns for today did not get scanned due to a breakdown in communication. They are "What Child is This," "Good Christian Friends, Rejoice," and " Joy to the World." You probably know them and we invite you to sing along from wherever you are. We may not be able to hear your voice

Second Sunday of Advent (12/7/25)
Toady is the Second Sunday in Advent. We apologize for not being able to broadcast last week's service. We are a small church with limited folks in the room. When one person is missing, we all feel it. When that happens to be the person who runs the broadcast, it complicates matters further. We tried. We failed. Please forgive us! As we approach the end of 2026, fiancncial times continue to give us all stresss. As the cost of living has increased across the board, s

On occasion, it is good to hear from someone else. Today, the sermon will be brought by The Rev. Mary Beth Anton. Matt and Stessa have taken the weekend to spend with John and the rest of the kids at Austin College. This is Homecoming and Parents weekend there and, this being John's first semester, we thought it important to attend. Normally we would try to make it back for Sunday but Sherman is a LONG way from Fort Davis. Please enjoy today's service. Mary Beth will pr
