Today we celebrate our own Baptism as we celebrate the Baptism of Christ as our first act of worhip in ordinary time. When we think of "ordinary' time, we don't think of "ordinary" as in "normal" or "hum drum" or "boring." It i ORDERED TIME. This is time as can be measured with a clock or a metronome.
