Baptism of the Lord Sunday (1/1/26)

Today we celebrate our own Baptism as we celebrate the Baptism of Christ as our first act of worhip in ordinary time. When we think of "ordinary' time, we don't think of "ordinary" as in "normal" or "hum drum" or "boring." It i ORDERED TIME. This is time as can be measured with a clock or a metronome. Ordinary time is that time where we take the lessons learned in the Advent and Christmas Seasons and put those lessons into action, through our prayers and through our actions.
